Elder scrolls novels. Freddie Wong has released a new short film produced by his Rocket Jump production company called 'The Rush.' It's an intense StarCraft fan film that ended up being a lot darker than I was expecting. It's a great film with awesome production value that fans of the game are sure to love.

In 2499 in the Koprulu sector, a ferocious collective race known as the Zerg arrives to massacre the exiled human colonies while a highly advanced race, the Protoss, intervenes to exterminate the Zerg. A few years ago I shot test footage for a Starcraft short film. Centered around the initial Zerg infestation of Mar Sara, my goal was to combine visual elements from SC2 with the dark, gritty, Battle Aboard the Amerigo vibe that defined SC1. Anyways, here's 12 seconds of said footage.
Starcraft Short Film
The title of the short was inspired by a term used in the came by players called 'Zerg Rush.' It's a strategy that gamers use in which they create as many units as possible at a fast pace in order to attack their opponents before they can fully mobilize. The short film highlights the effectiveness and brutality of this strategy.
The film stars Ellary Porterfield and Nico David, and it was co-directed by Wong and Matthew Arnold. Let us know what you think of the short after you watch it!

Freddie Wong under his production company Rocket Jump released a new Starcraft short film titled The Rush. The title stems from the 'Zerg Rush' term from the highly popular Starcraft from Blizzard. 'Zerg Rush' is when one player amasses a rapid amount of units as quickly as possible in order to overwhelm their opponents before they can establish a proper base. Watch as this small human colony gets swarmed by a massive horde of enemies with no way of survival, the short film tells the story of tragedy in a very believable and solid pay, great job Wong. Freddie Wong co-directed this short film with Matthew Arnold with a cast of Ellary Porterfield and Nico David. Simply awesome and Blizzard had better watch this team for future projects. Fnaf 1 tips.
